St Wilfrid's Hospice currently operates a number of shops in its catchment area, that extends from Emsworth to Arundel and north to include Midhurst, Pulborough, Petworth and Loxwood.
Every year our shops make a substantial contribution towards the running costs of the Hospice and the contribution from the shops for the financial year ending 31st March 2008 totalled £
Our shops are totally dependant on donations to continue to raise funds to support the Hospice and the shops are largely staffed with volunteers.
In addition to operating 5 traditional style shops in Barnham, Bognor Regis, East Wittering, Chichester and Selsey that sell donated clothing, books and bric-a-brac, we have St Wilfrid's Boutique & Dress Agency in Chichester and furniture shops in Bognor Regis, Southbourne and Summersdale in Chichester, which has our Donations Centre attached.
The traditional shops sell a variety of clothing, bric-a-brac, books and household goods. St Wilfrid's Boutique sells donated new and nearly new high quality ladies fashions and accessories, and also operates as a Dress Agency selling clients clothes on a commission basis. The furniture shops sell quality pre-loved furniture, home furnishings, books and bric-a-brac.
In addition we have a large Donation Centre adjacent to our Furniture Shop in Summersdale. It has direct vehicle access, so if you have items you wish to donate, simply drop them off between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
We also operate a collection and delivery service which is mainly used for larger donations and furniture. If you have large items you wish to donate please contact one of our Furniture Shops to arrange collection.
