BSc (Hons) Palliative & End of Life Care - also Dip HE Palliative & End of Life Care
Through our links with Winchester University we run one of the very few BSc (Hons) Palliative and End of Life Care courses in the country. This course also can be studied at Dip HE level. All health and social care professionals with a recognised and registered professional qualification are welcome to apply providing they meet the criteria for admission. A list of Trusts that support our students financially can be supplied and early applications to these are usually successful. Most of the teaching is provided by clinical experts from hospitals, the community and the hospice. Recruitment onto these awards will cease on 30th April 2013 as a result of a revised agreement with the University of Winchester. It will not be possible to register students after this date. We welcome applications during this final period of recruitment but stress that any applicants will need to progress through the modules relatively quickly as we aim to run modules only until late summer 2014.
The pathway consists of a combination of core and optional modules which we are now offering at a specially reduced fee of £200 per module. This means that providing you are an RGN registered with the NMC you could obtain your top up degree or diploma for a total price of only £1000!
You would be able to study locally as all of the study days are delivered at St Wilfrid's Hospice, Chichester. Days run 09.30 - 15.30 in order to be family friendly.
If you are interested in applying please contact the Education Administrators who can facilitate an appointment with Michele Booth.
